Disclosure of Material Connection: The author does not receive any compensation for writing this blog; and has no material connection to the brands, products, or services mentioned.*

Code of Conduct: I celebrate the blogosphere because it embraces frank and open conversation—and have adopted the following standard guidelines, knowing that frankness need not mean a lack of civility.

  • I take responsibility for my own words and for the comments I allow on this blog.

  • I’m committed to the “Civility Enforced” standard: I will not post unacceptable content, and will delete comments that contain it. Unacceptable content is defined as anything that abuses, harasses, stalks, or threatens others; that is libelous, knowingly false, or misrepresents another person; or that violates the privacy of others.

  • I define and determine what comments are “unacceptable” on a case-by-case basis; and if a comment or link is deleted, I’ll explain why.

  • Anonymous comments are not allowed. Commenters are required to supply a valid email address before they can post, though they are allowed to identify themselves with an alias.
