From Sea to Shining Sea

Walking past the Chelsea Hotel on New York’s west 23rd Street only to see the word "SEA" lit, I was prompted to take a picture and borrow one of our nation's most hallowed proclamations of its democratic ideals (above) as a reminder that they apply to ALL of us... including the outspoken, the artistic, the disenfranchised, the singular, the secular, the gay and garrulous, the everyman (and woman) who have called this iconic building home.
